World Cup Hair

The World Cup is well and truly underway and one thing we have noticed is how underwhelming some of the haircuts are.

Now back in the day without sounding like an old git when the World Cup was on you could only dream of having the same barnet as some of the players. I’m talking about the likes of Zico, Socrates, Platini, Maldini even our own Keegan and Chris Waddle.

Is it just me or did players look cool back then compared to this lot. 

I put it down to modern times and a real lack of individuality. What tends to happen is one barber cuts most of the team’s hair and has his signature cuts. Take the England team for example Bellingham, Rodger’s, Watkins and Guehi exactly the same trims, all cut great by the way but all the same.

We say bring back footballers with cool hair and give us some hair inspiration.
